Prangarik Pathshala and National Farmer Forum (NFF) are jointly organizing “Farmer Assembly”. The assembly attempts to facilitate face-to-face meeting, discussion and interaction amongst young people, farmers, traders, experts, policy makers, technicians, and media people.
People associated with agricultural sector conduct an intensive discussion on contemporary agricultural problems and challenges. The main objective of the assembly is to encourage an open discourse on agriculture and build and strengthen partnership between several agricultural stakeholders.
National Farmer Assembly
Prangarik Pathshala(school of agriculture) and National Farmer Forum-Nepal is jointly organizing a one day’s National Farmer Assembly to bring together small, medium and large-scale farmers, rural farmers, agro-entrepreneurs, agri-businessmen, agricultural stakeholders, public and private sectors, banking and financial institutions.
The assembly will attempt to promote face-to-face interaction with each other to take actions to address the needs, concerns and problems of smallholders and potential commercial farmers. In the Assembly, successful agro-entrepreneurs and agri-businessmen will present their success stories. Likewise, governmental representatives will give a presentation on governmental policies and programs.
